Its truly a beauty. Standing 4” tall and both Rhodium and Gold-plated. Dates back to 1940s. This brooch has a lot going on in a sophisticated way. The flowers have a layered construction that are attached by rivets. Each flower is a completely different design with a large leaf reaching up behind and one on the side of each flower. The flowers are triple layered with the bottom layer being rhodium plated encrusted with rhinestones, then a brass cutout with small petals and the center top layer is small flower encrusted in rhinestones. The large center Lily shaped flower has 4 red, green and topaz glass balls on wire stamen. Some very very minor wear on the gold platting, otherwise excellent condition.
