Gorgeous Byzantine style Chanel brooch with huge faux opal. Beautifully made. Textured gold tone metal with fabulous faux opal stone that looks like glowing lava. Brooch measures 2″ by 1.5″. The brooch is unsigned, but I had a similar set of pin and earrings that was featured in the book “Jewelry by CHANEL” (page 90) – see picture. Excellent condition.
